How we made Foodhall more appetising

Recently, we were called upon to take up a very special project for one of India’s premier ‘food specialists', Foodhall; they wanted to make a rather unique frame to inform shoppers about one of their premium products at their outlet in Phoenix, Bombay.

Foodhall, for the uninitiated, is the place discerning food-lovers go to discover a whole new world of food-related ideas and inspiration and shop for everything under food.

Speaking of ideas, in order to come up with a suitable one to meet this very specialised brief, the first thing we did was head down to the outlet to get a lay of the land and a sense of what it had in store for us. A few days and many cups of fine tea later, we knew exactly what we had to do to make The House of Tea stand apart from the crowd.

In a nutshell, the solution we conceptualised and designed was made-to-order using a unique rubber wood plaque that was partly engraved and partly printed to give it an understated, subtle texture and look in keeping with the personality of the brand. Finally, the plaque was framed in rustic brown to lend it a timeless quality and old-world charm.

We really enjoyed doing this project for Foodhall, which, incidentally , is one of our favorite brands. As a matter of fact, Foodhall has asked us to do similar kinds of frames for more of their outlets. So soon enough, you will find them adorning the walls of their stores across India.

All this to say, if you like what we did for Foodhall and want us to create merchandise or marketing communication for your brand, do get in touch with us.
